Glad you asked. We’re always on a mission to create the perfect hair & beauty experience, from booking an appointment 24/7, to managing that appointment on the go. Being able to reschedule and cancel, right up to the last-minute, is a real perk of using Treatwell and something we’re proud to offer.
Of course, managing appointments in this way – rescheduling and cancelling – impacts our salon Partners (the pros working day and night on the treatment-side). If we see unusual behaviour from a customer, like not turning up or cancelling frequently, at short notice, it’s our responsibility to step in.
If you’ve made several last-minute cancellations, missed multiple appointments, or already have two ‘pay at venue’ bookings coming up, you’ll need to pay for your appointment before attending it.
Often our salons are independent businesses, so failing to attend an appointment, or cancelling last-minute affects more than just their schedule – they’ve kept that slot just for you, after all. By introducing pre-pay at this stage, we can reduce the impact on business owners, while continuing to give our customers the perfect hair & beauty experience.
