When booking certain treatments, you're required by UK law to have an allergy (or 'patch') test at least 24 hours before your treatment starts. This is to make sure you're not allergic to any of the products that'll be used, keeping you safe.
You'll need to have a patch test if:
- You've never received the treatment at the salon you've booked with
- You've not had a patch test with this salon in the last 6 months
- You have had a patch test with this salon in the last 6 months, but you've had Covid-19 since then
When making your booking, we'll let you know if the service requires that you have a patch test when you add it to your basket.
Then, when choosing the date and time of your appointment, you'll need to make sure that you leave enough time to have the test done.
After you've made your booking, you might receive a text message from us including a link to book your free patch test. Click the link and make your patch test booking.
If you don't receive a text from us within a few minutes, you'll need to contact the salon directly to arrange a test, or pop in if you're local.
