When booking certain treatments, you may be required by law to have an allergy (or "patch") test at least 48 hours before your treatment starts. This is to make sure you're not allergic to any of the products that'll be used, so we can guarantee your safety.
You'll need to have a patch test if:
- You've never received the treatment at the salon you've booked with
- You've not had a patch test with this salon in the last 6 months
- You have had a patch test with this salon in the last 6 months, but you've had Covid-19 since then
When making your booking, we'll let you know if the service requires that you have a patch test when you add it to your basket.
Then, when choosing the date and time of your appointment, you'll need to make sure that you leave enough time to have the test done (a minimum of 48 hours). After you've made your booking, you might receive an email or SMS from us with your patch test details.
If you're not contacted within a few minutes, you'll need to contact the salon directly to arrange a test or pop in if you're local.
